Loved it. It started off really slow and I was being to wonder if I could bear reading this book. Then all of a sudden I was caught up in adventure. There was so much going on you really had to wonder how is he going to get out this this or that. Dan and Aarron remained loyal to each other friendships. It's so sad with all that went on in Dan life concerning his tribulations of lost and depression. The love he had for his Ilan after watching her from afar because of her status as a princess and finally having her admitt she felt the same love for him.It's so heartbreaking what happens to them after that longing of fighting the odds and finally becoming husband and wife to have that path shattered. I really couldn't believe how amazing this book was. I really look forward to the next book.
it kept me reading. i didnt want to put it down. you will enjoy this one. i hope there are more to come. just brilliant.
This being a story that I had foreknowledge of I was most excited about it being published.
S.R Ford is fantastic author. His syntax and content kept me up reading through the night. To get a better understanding of how entrancing his writing is let me tell you what happened when this book arrived in the mail. I got the book Saturday and I could not stop reading until I decided at 2 am the next day that I needed to get to sleep.
Seeing how Ford advanced the plot from what I knew to what it is now demonstrates how powerful his creative mind is. He was able to weave together literally centuries of myth and legend and bring in a brand new brave modern world.
From the genius and literary merit I give Mimgardr a strong 5 out of 5.
